KlasKamer is a South African educational technology platform operated by Eroline Plaatjes, trading under the KlasKamer name as a sole proprietor. In these Terms, "KlasKamer", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of the KlasKamer platform. By using the service you enter into a binding agreement with KlasKamer, and your continued use of the platform means you accept these Terms.

KlasKamer provides AI-assisted educational content for teachers. AI-generated content should always be reviewed by the user before classroom use. Users remain responsible for ensuring that lesson plans, assessments and other materials are accurate, appropriate and compliant with their institution's requirements.

Users must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure. Users may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with platform operation, or upload unlawful or infringing content.

KlasKamer is offered as a subscription. The Free plan includes 3 once-off AI credits and does not refill. Premium Basic costs R79.99 per month and includes 10 AI credits that refill every month. Premium Pro costs R149.99 per month and includes 25 AI credits that refill every month. Annual subscriptions are available at launch pricing of R549 (Basic) and R899 (Pro), and R599 (Basic) and R999 (Pro) thereafter.

Monthly subscription credits are an allowance: unused subscription credits do not carry over or accumulate from month to month. AI credit top-ups of 5 credits for R29.99 may be purchased at any time. Top-up credits do not expire and are only used once your subscription credits for the month are exhausted. Each AI generation uses one credit; if a generation fails, the credit is restored automatically.

All payments are processed securely by our online reseller Paddle.com, which acts as Merchant of Record for all orders and handles billing, tax and customer service enquiries relating to purchases. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled, and access and credits are activated only after successful payment confirmation. You may cancel at any time, in which case Premium access continues until the end of the paid billing period. If a payment is reversed or refunded, Premium status and any related credits may be revoked.

KlasKamer may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the service, in whole or in part and with or without notice where the circumstances require, if: you materially breach these Terms; a payment fails, is reversed or is charged back; we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or a security risk to the platform or other users; or you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules or applicable law. Where practical we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. On termination your right to use the service ends immediately; you may request an export of your saved content within 30 days, after which your data may be deleted or anonymised.

KlasKamer and its content, branding and software remain the intellectual property of the operator of KlasKamer, except for user-uploaded content, which remains the property of the user.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KlasKamer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform. South African law applies to these Terms.
